The Kinesiology Department offers courses for the student who wants an Associates degree in Kinesiology or to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Health, or Recreation as well as the student who is interested in learning or perfecting skills and developing fitness. The concentration in health promotion can provide students with the skills necessary to gain employment in a variety of community health settings, including public health departments, hospital-based health programs, professional and commercial health organizations, and corporate health settings among others.
