Fans of the French «Marseille» and «Angers» staged a massive brawl at the stadium after the end of the meeting between the teams in the seventh round of the national championship. The video of the incident was posted on Patrice Normand’s YouTube channel.
Law enforcement officers promptly intervened in the scuffle, but some fans managed to get into the field. During the riots, the equipment of the stadium was damaged. The meeting took place on Wednesday, September 22, and ended with a score of 0: 0.
On 15 September, riots broke out in another French championship match between Lens and Lille. Then the fans of the teams started a fight on the field and web site in the stands during the break.
