Kathy Hilton reveals past anguish watching her sisters clash on RHOBH

Kathy Hilton opened up about the pain she experienced watching her sisters Kyle and Kim Richards clash on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in its first season.

The reality star, 62, chat about the emotional experience while appearing on the  podcast on SiriusXM Tuesday, saying she was ‘so hurt at what happened that first season’ when her sisters had an infamous clash in a limousine.

Hilton said the hostile exchange between her younger siblings put her off to the show, which she now appears on in a friend capacity.

‘I’ll be honest with you,’ Hilton said. ‘I didn’t watch it because I was so hurt at what happened that first season and I didn’t speak to my sister for a long time … Kyle.’

Kathy said that she watched the show with daughter Paris Hilton, and they ‘broke down’ in seeing the family fight unfold onscreen.

‘You know when you cry and you’re shaking and your lip starts to quiver and «My mommy’s not there and there’s no one» — it’s like, I felt helpless and alone,’ she said. ‘Paris was crying too.’

Kathy noted that she was ‘very ADD’ in watching the show, adding, ‘I can’t sit there and watch, it could be the best show in the world.

‘If I did watch that first season, I would only zip quickly to see Kim and Kyle.’

Kathy inked on as a friend of the show last October, as a source told the heiress felt it would be an ‘easier’ path, without having to appear on the reunion specials.
