The Kinesiology B.S. Exercise and Sport Physiology track is appropriate for students interested in pursuing careers in sport science, health promotion, medicine, wellness, sports medicine, and allied health (i.e. physical therapy, athletic training, occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and corporate wellness). On-campus, you’ll have access to state-of-the art exercise science, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, mental training and PE pedagogy labs. These options are Applied Fitness, Dance, Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Sport Studies. Career Opportunities — Career opportunities for fitness instructors are varied. The Health and Physical Education Teaching emphasis prepares student to pursue a career as a school teacher. Courses completed and already used to satisfy General Education Program, Basic Level, Advanced Level and selected Track requirements may not be used to meet the Restricted Elective requirement.
