Meanwhile, MPSI and GOLF spectra present two peaks corresponding to the 26 days periodicity (rotation period) and its first harmonic (Fig. 1 (right)). Two of the usual solar activity indexes are the Magnetic Plage Solar Index (MPSI) and the Mont Wilson Sunspots Index (MWSI). Fig. 3 (bottom) shows the coherency between the wavelet power spectra of MPSI and cheap custom golf balls data shifted by 3.57 days. We will compare the GOLF data with some of the above-mentioned solar activity indexes. We can also more quantitatively compare our results to those of Li by using the power spectrum of the golf ball forces, shown in Figure 8. While the two side force spectra appear nearly identical, the lift and drag coefficients show slight differences. At the entrance of the instrument, two filters can be used: the first one is located around the NaD1 line (∼similar-tosim∼589.6 nm) with a width of 0.6 nm, the second one is centered on the continuum (∼similar-tosim∼591 nm) with a larger width. The typical goal of a golf ball design is to maximize the range it can be driven in a straight line. An enhancement by a factor of 4 or 5 has been measured with MDI in the range of acoustic modes but it is not evident that such an effect would be sufficient to detect gravity modes with a photometric instrument when considering Figure 1. So it is natural to also push the development of a new instrument using the Doppler velocity technique which derives from our expertise in Europe.
This component is strongest when the line of sight velocity between the instrument and the Sun is at its maximum. The shape of the photon flux along the cell corresponds reasonably well with what is expected from the different points along the line. We thank the technical and instrumental support received from the different IAC’s Services, as well as the Operator Team from the Observatorio del Teide, with a special thanks to A. Pimienta. BK acknowledges the support being provided by Udaipur Solar Observatory/Physical Research Laboratory and RAG acknowledges the support of CNES. We would like to thank Satoko Marumoto, Takahiro Kuroda, Yusuke Sasamori, Ryo Yoneda, Yoshiro Matsuda, Yu Hirate, and all contributors to this research for their support. We deepen our study by using two more indexes: sunspot numbers (SS) and the radio flux at 10.7 cm (F10.7). For that reason, the two wings are directly comparable in a statistical sense even though individual events are never recorded simultaneously.
The important point, however, is that even though we do not measure the red and blue wings simultaneously, we do observe their average temporal evolution under similar conditions. Collaborative filtering should be leveraged wherever possible, even if impractical for the granularity of packages. We then checked what packages users actually booked from 1 June 2013 to 15 June 2013. We call this evaluation index the expected minimum precision (EMP), because the number of booked packages would increase if users interact with our recommendation results. Hz where velocities are greatest and then to examine the low frequency region if the first search was successful. We analyzed simultaneous space-based, Sun-as-a-star helioseismic observations collected by the Global Oscillations at Low Frequency (GOLF; Gabriel et al. The temporal variations of the frequency shifts were defined as the difference between reference values (taken as the average over 1996-1997) and the parameters of the corresponding modes observed at different dates. POSTSUBSCRIPT is a reference distance.
POSTSUBSCRIPT with height, near 400 km. POSTSUBSCRIPT is more important when considering all confused wings. 40404040), leading to a more visibly bimodal polar plot, but the trends remain the same. The system was able to collect hundreds of images with a large variety of pose and expressions for the same player. For each player we obtain on average 280 images. In particular, we build rich feature representations for player recognition without manually annotated training examples. Each one covers a player’s approach to a certain hole (e.g. Daniel Berger, 13th hole) and usually contains multiple shots that the player used to complete a particular hole. Figure 3 shows the conditionally averaged intensities of both wings, together with their difference (e.g Ired — Iblue). A blueshift occurs, which means that sodium is rising, see Figure 4a. After the peak of the flare, a deficit in intensity occurs in the red wing, which implies a downward motion of the plasma.
