The tennis player continues to recover after the 2021 US Open, where he lost in the final to Russian Daniil Medvedev (4: 6, 4: 6, 4: 6).
The Indian Wells Masters kicks off October 7th. Usually, the tournament takes place in March, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to October.
Djokovic has won 3 of 4 Grand Slam tournaments this season: Australian Open, homepage French Open and Wimbledon.
